Season Announcement Wednesday…eerrr…Thursday?

It has been a busy week of theatre, but there are companies that are announcing their next seasons left and right, and this week is no exception. It’s cool when a company that normally does a few new titles and few older titles combines for an all around season that everyone can enjoy. This week I provide a great example of this in Visalia Community Players’ 2012-2013 season!

Shows/Dates: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (August 17 - September 2); The Laramie Project (October 5 - 21); *8* (November 2 - 3); A Tuna Christmas (November 30 - December 16); Doubt (January 18, 2013 - February 3, 2013); Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (March 8 - 24); Forces of Nature (May 3 - 19); G.I. Jukebox (June 21 - July 7) *=Not part of the regular season package*

Description: Visalia Community Players is a community theatre company based out of downtown Visalia, CA. They are committed to bringing Visalia a quality theatre production for an affordable price. Their venue has a wonderfully cozy lobby, and the theater itself is a nice house with plenty of room. I have seen their production of Greater Tuna and enjoyed myself very much. Go check out some of these great titles and support a community theatre at the same time! Go see a show!
