It is always exciting when you know that there is a theatre company that is dedicated to bringing not just big titles and different works to its audiences; but who also is dedicated to teaching and educating its actors by picking very challenging and insightful scripts. This week’s company has demonstrated these very things, and their conservatory training program has been home to many a Broadway and Hollywood star. I present to you the 2012-2013 season of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA.

Description: A.C.T has been home to such stars as Darren Criss, Elizabeth Banks, Danny Glover, Winona Ryder, and Denzel Washington among numerous others. It has also taken many, many awards for its continued success on producing new works, and classic titles. It is also a staple theatre company for presenting Regional and World premieres. I have seen Race and Tales of the City; both remarkable pieces in their own right. I am looking forward to seeing many more works, including their upcoming premiere of The Scottsboro Boys. Season tickets are available, so go see a show!
